With out of a doubt, there will always be jobs out there fro graphic designers, as long as you're determined to find work and have a good attitude towards working with clients or in business team then it'll be very easy to come by. Freelance work is always advertised on websites and other sources such as flyers, posters and what I have found out the most, is my college's job updater which we get live briefs and competitions very regularly.
Finding Job's:
If I were to search for a job when I have finished my course, yes It may seem scary at first, but hopefully throughout my course I can find work through maturing and developing as a designer that when it comes to it, it'll be a piece of cake due to the confidence I'll have.
There are several jobs you can always find, and most of the time it'll be advertised throughout websites, as in this generation, most people have turned to living a life of digital uses such as Facebook and Twitter. A good source of jobs is the website which you apply to get student loans and grants, Directgov. I have found many lists of jobs waiting to be looked at further, jobs including Web Designer, Brand Identity, Magazine Developer, and many others. What I have also realized is how popular demands for designers to create websites is rising, hence the adverts which you see on television today are all about website templates. All I know is, today is a very good time to be a graphic designer as there is many demands for them, but obviously I am unsure of how successful we will become in the years to come as demands ALWAYS change.
